The procedures for connecting, using and disconnecting an adaptor are the same as for a regulator.

Many devices available on the market, such as weed burners, asphalt burners, etc... are standard equipped with a nut connection 3/8 left-hand thread. With this adaptor you can easily put these devices into use.

Using a Quick-On regulator
The existing bottle connections are either a bottle valve internal thread or a bottle valve external thread. If you want to switch to a Quick-On there are two possibilities.
1. You purchase a Quick-On regulator and replace the old one.
2. Purchase an adaptor with a bottle valve and screw your existing regulator onto this adapter and you are done.
Example for a regulator used for a gas cylinder with an external thread. This can be screwed directly onto the adaptor. The connection of the adaptor is identical to the bottle valve male thread.
